Dr. Rajeev Taliyan completed his M.Pharm. (Pharmacology) from Punjabi University-Patiala, Punjab and Ph.D in Pharmacology with Prof. P.L Sharma (Emeritus, Prof. PGIMER) and Late Prof. Manjeet Singh (Ex Head, Dean, Punjabi University) from ISF college, Punjab Technical University, Punjab.

Dr.Taliyan published numerous research papers in national and International Journals of high repute including-(Pharmacological research-IF=7.83: Aging Res Reviews=IF-10.90:, J Controlled Release, IF-9.77: Biomed & Pharmacother –IF 6.52: Neuropharmacology-IF= 5.52], besides attending and presenting scientific papers in many national and international conferences and seminars. He delivered invited talk in several national and international conference.

He is members of editorial board and reviewer of many reputed journals. He is also an Ex- executive member of Indian Pharmacological Society (IPS) and actively involved in regional conference of IPS. Many prizes and awards are also in his credit including prestigious-NAMS membership award.

He joined in January 2012 as an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Pilani-campus, Rajasthan. He was promoted to the position of Associate Professor in 2018. His field of expertise is Cardiovascular and Neuropharmacology.
