Dr. Roman Lysiuk completed his M.Pharm. (Pharmacy) and Ph.D in specialty “Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy” from Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, Lviv.

Dr. Lysiuk published numerous research papers in international journals of high repute, including Free Radical Biology and Medicine (CiteScore 14.0), Archives of Toxicology (11.6), Food and Chemical Toxicology (10.9), Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology (10.0), Biological Trace Element Research (8.7), Current Medicinal Chemistry (8.6), International Journal of Molecular Sciences (8.1), Molecules (7.4), International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (7.3), Environmental Toxicology and Pharmacology (7.0), Current Pharmaceutical Design (6.3), Pharmaceuticals (6.1), Basic and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology (5.6), besides attending and presenting his research outcomes in various conferences.

He is a member of editorial boards of several scientific journals. Dr. Roman Lysiuk joined in February 2003 as an assistant professor at the Department of Pharmacognosy and Botany, Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, Lviv, Ukraine. His field of expertise comprises phytotherapy, pharmacognosy, phytochemical analysis (Astragalus spp., flavonoids, selenium) and pharmacology of herbal drugs and food supplements.
