The Pakad (Ficus infectoria), is a large tree in Moraceae family, traditionally used in treatment of several diseases (diabetes, menstrual disorders, washing ulcers, leucorrhoea, erysipelas, epitaxis antibacterial and antifungal). The present study was carried out to investigate the phytochemical profile of bark of Ficus infectoria. The bark powder was successively extracted with petroleum ether, chloroform, methanol and ethanol: water (50: 50). Phytochemical analysis shows the presence of carbohydrate, glycoside, alkaloid, protein, amino acid, phytosterol, tannin & flavonoids. The result of the study could be useful for description and foundation of monograph of the plant.
