Compositional changes in sesquiterpene constituents of Blumea mollis Merr.

Blumea mollis collected from different regions of Uttarakhand (India). GC and GC-MS analysis of the essential oil of these samples showed the dominance of sesquiterpenoids viz. (E)-caryophyllene, caryophyllene oxide, ?-cadinene, bisabolene, germacrene D and ?-humulene beside 2,5-dimethoxy -p-cymene.
